Privacy policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Surfmyads.com, Inc. ("Surfmyads.com," "we," "us," or "the Site") operates PromotionalCodes.com. This policy describes the information we collect through the website. By using the Site you agree to this policy. Questions: [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you provide (search queries, emails if you write to us, and newsletter signups) and technical data from your browser: pages viewed, referring URLs, visit times, device type, IP address, operating system, and browser.

When you reveal a code we also record that click so we can attribute the visit to the merchant:

• The offer and store you opened
• The outbound redirect through /rc/[couponId]
• Whether a later purchase was reported by the merchant's affiliate network

How we use it

• Operate and improve the Site and its offers
• Respond when you contact us
• Send marketing emails when you join the newsletter
• Measure which coupons are used and keep listings current
• Comply with legal obligations

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter, the page you signed up from (including a store page when you are on one), and a coarse device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop). We send that information to our Operations Hub processor so we can confirm the subscription and email deal alerts. You can unsubscribe from those messages using the link in the email or by writing to [email protected].

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies that are needed to load pages and remember basic preferences. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies after you leave through an outbound link. We also use Google Analytics to measure traffic and how the Site is used.

Affiliate click-outs

Reveal-code links go through our /rc/[couponId] redirect, which calls the coupon API so the merchant can credit the visit. That hop sends the coupon id, our client id (18), and standard request metadata. If you do not want that data collected, do not use deal links on the Site.

Children

The Site is not intended for children. No one under 18 may provide personal information on the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Updates

We may update this policy at any time. The date at the top of the page is the latest version. Continued use after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
